Situated on the 'Etage Noble' (literally, the noble floor) or one and a half flights of stairs up of a beautiful building built in 1763, this 45 square metre (485 sq. foot) apartment has extremely high 4 metre ceilings, orginal parquet de Versailles oakwood floors, large windows, a beautiul decorative 18th century marble fireplace and a beautiful mirror with an original 18th century painting of frolickers.

You enter the apartment straight into a dining/study area with its two large windows to your right, looking over a quiet courtyard. Here, you'll find a table with seating for for four, a stunning chest of drawers and a staircase leading up to the reasonably-sized sleeping area with comfortable bedding for two guests.

As you continue through the apartment, after the dining/study area, you will pass through double-doors into a small hallway separating the kitchen to your right and the bathroom to your left.

The Kitchen is equipped with a four-hubbed electric cooker, a small electric oven, a refrigerator with ice compartment, dishwasher, a sink, kettle, a coffee-machine and toaster as well as pots, pans, and tableware to enjoy a home-made meal at home if you're not too tempted by the many wonderful restaurants on the island.

The tiled bathroom comes with shower with sliding glass doors, a toilet, sink, hairdryer and a washing machine/dryer combo.

Continuing through the apartment through another door, you arrive in a stunning room, which has little-changed in the last 250 years. With its beautiful oak-panelled walls, the same kind of Parquet floor that was created for the Versailles Palace, its beautiful marble fireplace, mirrors, original artwork and comfortable sofa, you will feel at home.

With a comfortable sofa-bed with high-quality mattress, this apartment can comfortably sleep four guests, with a good degree of intimacy, since there are two doors which can be closed between each sleeping area.
