The apartment is situated on the second floor of an early 19th century building. There is an elevator which has just been installed and the hallway and staircase will be renovated at a later date. It has original oak parquet floors, large windows, high ceilings and beautiful plaster mouldings throughout and is equipped with central heating with stripped and restored turn-of-the century radiators.
It has been entirely renovated and decorated by our team to the highest standards, with luxury furnishings and fittings, in a modern interpretation of the directoire/Consulate style (late 18th-early 19th century) to fit with the period that the building was built.

The front door of the apartment opens to an entrance hall which is partially separated from the living room by two corinthian columns. The living room is furnished with a beautifully-restored Directoire daybed/sofa which can comfortably sleep a fifth guest, a glass coffee table, two Louis XVI-styled, second empire chairs, side tables, Original artwork, a crystal chadelier and stylish lamps. There is a small library with a sound system and a flatscreen television with cable connection and home cinema sound system from Bose. It also has a decorative red marble fireplace and double wooden doors, which open to the front bedroom.
The front bedroom, with its grey marble, decorative fireplace, has a large queen-sized bed, a Louis XVI chest of drawers, a small side table and two directoire armchairs. The walls are in two shades of grey with panels of hand-painted wallpaper from Zuber with an early 19th century Roman scene in grisaille. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite marble bathrooms; the front bedrooms bathroom is fitted with white arabescato marble and the large shower and sink are fitted with fittings designed by Arne Jacobsen for Vola. The front bathroom has no toilet, but there is an extra one next to the dining room.
The second bedroom can be communicated by a small, shared dressing room/closet, or by a separate entrance to the left of the main entrance hall. It has two single beds, that can be joined or separated as needs be. It is furnished with a large original 19th Century oil painting, a Louis XVI chest of drawers and its en-suite bathroom is furbished with grey/black marble and white marble arabescato floors. It has a full bath with headrest and shower fitting. It is also equipped with a suspended toilet and marble sink.
To the left of the main entrance hall is the dining room, from which you have a wonderful perspective view over the whole living area of the apartment. It is furbished with black and white decorative floor-tiling, an empire chandelier, a collection of original 18th century engravings of maps, a beautiful Mahogony Empire table and six Biedermeyer chairs. There is also a separate adjoining toilet.
The dining room is connected to the kitchen with its black-laquered fitted cabinets and red granite work-surface, equipped with a four-hubbed gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with separate freezer, a dishwashing machine, a clothes-washing/dryer machine combo, coffee/espresso machine, toaster, kettle and equipment to make a good meal.
