This superb apartment is situated on the corner of the famous rue Saint Honoré and the rue du Pont Neuf, which leads to the Pont Neuf, a couple of blocks down; the oldest bridge of Paris, joining the right and left banks fo the Seine via the Ile de la Cite. You are ideally situated next to les Halles with its large shopping centre and cinemas (showing films in English), the Montorgueil neighbourhood with its charming food market, shops and cafes, the Marais with its beautiful historical buildings, restaurants and bars, the Louvre museum, Notre Dame, the Pompidou Centre and even the left bank with Saint Michel and Saint Germain des Pres is not far away.
The apartment measures 70 sq. Metres (646 sq. ft) and is situated on the 6th floor with an elevator. It was entirely renovated by an architect in January 2011 with wooden parquet flooring, double glazed windows, modern bathroom and a small, well-conceived kitchen.
When you walk into the apartment, the door to the small second bedroom with its double bed and small bedside table is just in front of you; there is then a private staircase to the right with exposed oakwood beams, leading on to a landing, which connects the kitchen and the bathroom on opposite ends.
The kitchen is small, but well equipped with everything you need to make a great meal: Vitroceramic cooker, full-sized oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The bathroom has a separate washing machine and clothes dryer and of course a suspended toilet, sink and a large slate-tiled shower with a hand held and a ceiling shower fixture.
To the right of the kitchen is the entrance giving on to the dining area with a table and seating for six, which opens on to the large living area with a large couch, designer armchairs and a beautiful dark stained wood coffee table. There is also a decorative fireplace, flatscreen television with cable connection, DVD and a stereo sound system. From the central window you have a wonderful view of the midieval Saint Eustache church, a beautiful example of gothic architecture.
From the living area there is another staircase leading up to the master bedroom with a good quality queen-sized bed (160cm*200cm) and windowed doors, giving access to your own south-facing private terrace with teakwood floors, plenty of plants, a small table, a few chairs and stools and the most breathtaking view of the whole of Paris.
There is a wifi internet connection, cabled television and free phone calls to all the countries listed below.
