This charming one bedroom vacation rental apartment is in the Etienne Marcel neighbourhood, close to 'Les Halles', Chatelet, the Montorgueil neighbourhood, Place des Victoires and the Pompidou centre. The Marais is just a five minute walk away. Here you are in the heart of things. This area is one of the busiest areas of Paris. But because it is in a private passageway and looks onto a courtyard, it is very calm and quiet.

The apartment is in a private gated street, on the 3rd French floor of a 17th Century building. The building entrance and staircase were recently renovated. The apartment has high oak-beamed ceilings and large windows and is about 40 sq. meters (430 sq. feet).

When you enter the apartment, there is an entrance hall, which gives on to all the rooms; a bathroom to the right, the kitchen opposite the entrance, the bedroom to the left of the kitchen and the living room to the left at the end of the entrance hall.

The living room is 20 sq.meters (215 sq.feet) with a large L-shaped sofa, which converts to a comfortable bed for two. It has been tastefully furnished to make you feel at much at home as possible, with French antiques, rug and original artwork. The high east-facing windows give much light and overlook a very peaceful courtyard. There are two 19th Century re-upholstered armchairs, a beautiful glass and gilded coffee table from the 40's and a mahogony dining table with four chairs. There is a flat screen TV with cable, a telephone and a wireless internet connection.

The bedroom sleeps two people comfortably in a large double (140cm X 200cm) bed with a romantic cloth awning; there is plenty of storage space in the closet.

The kitchen is well equipped, with a 2 burner vitroceramic stove, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice compartment and a washing machine.

The bathroom is clean and functional with a shower, toilet and wash basin, with a cabinet to store toiletries.
