It is also ideally situated in the heart of the Marais, within walking distance to many famous Paris landmarks, such as the Pompidou centre, Notre Dame cathedral, Hotel de Soubise Rohan (an incredible 18th century mansion housing a part of the national archives) the musee Carnavalet, former home to Madame de Sevigne and now the museum of the city of Paris.
